WINTERPORT – Carleton Aubrey Junkins, 83, died peacefully Nov. 7, 2011, attended by his wife and children at home. He was born June 14, 1928, in Bangor, the son of Aubrey and Tessie Goding Junkins.
Carleton proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was proud of being a member of Howard Lodge AF & AM No. 69, Winterport; and Anah Shrine Temple, Bangor. He was employed at Bangor Hydro.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise of Winterport; sons, Michael and companion, Gloria, of Bangor and Jeffrey and wife, Wendy, of Florida; daughters, Karen and Kathy of Winterport; granddaughter, Ashley and husband, Chris Sinclair, of Florida; and great-granddaughter, Chloe Sinclair.
Donations in his memory may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Boston, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
