MILFORD – Elizabeth L. Demont, 81, wife of the late Robert Demont, died Nov. 6, 2011, at her home. She was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Howland, daughter of Oakley and Minnie E. (York) Giles.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Stormann of Milford; grandchildren, Kerrie Ford and her husband, Clark, of Belfast, Blaine Demont and his wife, Nicole, of Old Town, and Stephanie Demont and Mickey Godin of Hermon; great-grandchildren, Devon and Aleasha Godin, Jordyn Demont, Grant, Paige, Monty, Addie and Gareth Ford; sisters, Lila Lindquist and her husband, Victor, of Lincoln, and Clarice Stanley and her husband, Avon, of Howland; special nieces, Carol Neal Corbett of Lewiston and Lynn Lindquist Lloyd of Howland; and special friend, Janet Bradeen Murphy of Orono. She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert T. Foster; her second husband, Robert D. Demont; and sisters, Ramona Neal, Sandra Lindquist and Mary Caron.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Milford Cemetery, Bradley Road, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jordyn Demont Epilepsy Foundation, care of Penobscot Credit Union, 205 Main St., Old Town, ME 04468 or to a charity of choice.
