SEARSPORT and BROOKSVILLE – Harold Richard Sanborn, 73, died Nov. 9, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1938, in Castine, the son of George and Olive (Ryan) Sanborn Sr.
Harold especially enjoyed clamming, blueberry raking and his time at hunting camp.
He is survived by his son, Brian Sanborn of Rockland; and brothers, William Sanborn and wife, Faye, of East Thetford, Vt., Robert Sanborn and wife, Priscilla, of Searsport and Philip Sanborn of Searsport. He was predeceased by two brothers, Herbert and George Jr.; and three sisters, Evelyn Hutchinson, Effie Orcutt and Jean Louise Sanborn.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Lakeview Cemetery, Brooksville.
