CORINNA – Jennie Alma Williams, 83, died Nov. 12, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1928, in Exeter, a daughter of Daniel and Evelyn (Madison) Henderson.

Jennie attended Exeter schools and later, Corinna Union Academy, until the end of her junior year when she contracted a serious illness. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Street Christian Church and later attended Morse’s Corner Baptist Church faithfully. After moving to the Phillips-Strickland House, Jennie attended the chapel there.

She is survived by her daughter, Leona and husband, Ron Paradis, of Newport; sister, Ethelyn French-Knowles of Missouri; two grandchildren, Amanda Buck and Justin Paradis; two great-grandchildren, Owen Buck and Jake Paradis; a special aunt, Angie Keyser of Bangor; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Judy and Ron Richards of Corinna. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon Sr.; son, Leon Jr.; and sister, Etta Doughty.
