CRYSTAL – Patricia Mae Dill, 77, died Nov. 18, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 27, 1934, in Milford, Del., the daughter of Charles Clifton and Leila Murphy.
Patricia served as president of the Woman’s Democratic Committee while in New Jersey, and when visiting Bar Harbor she loved to watch the ships come in. She was known for her excellent cooking skills and was an avid bingo player. She loved playing cards and games. She was the Scrabble champion of PCU. She also met many people in her years of working the flea markets.
She is survived by her husband, William Dill of Island Falls; two sons, George Ghegan and his wife, Cindy, of Oklahoma and Martin Ghegan and his wife, Diane, of New Jersey; two daughters, Nancy Henley and her husband, Brad, of Tennessee and Susan Hardy and her husband, Dean, of Merrill; two brothers, Gary Boulden of Texas and Wayne Boulden of New Jersey; two sisters, Brenda Reese of Pennsylvania and Nancy Linn of New Jersey; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; also a very special “Sister,” Dorothy Nicktern. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Clifton and Leila Boulden; and her son, George Dill.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will be at Island Falls Cemetery.
