ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Carol A. Harper, 70, went home to her Lord and savior Nov. 22, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; and daughters, Denyse and Laura.
Daughter of Frank and Anna Hudzik of Saint Bernadette’s Parish, Silver Spring, Md., she graduated from Holy Names High School. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park, prior to administrative assignments with Vitro and later Alcoa. Married to Robert L. Harper of Bangor, in 1964, she moved to various Navy duty stations before settling in Endicott, N.Y., then Annapolis, Md. Always graceful and charming, Carol extensively supported a variety of groups, including her local parishes; the Girl Scouts; Bible Study Fellowship; Birthright; U.S. Naval Academy, class of 1963; Naval Academy Altar Flower Guild; Ranger Rosary; and Caring Collection.
A funeral Mass will be held 8:30 a.m. Nov. 28 at the Naval Academy chapel with interment after at Academy Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s name to Caring Collection, Inc.
