DEXTER – Juanita Marie Curtis, 70, died Nov. 22, 2011, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born Oct. 15, 1941, in Garland, a daughter of Bernard and Esther (Tozier) Goulette.

She was a member of Dexter Pentecostal Church where she served frequently as a soloist. Juanita was an avid cat lover, and enjoyed crafts and craft sales.

She is survived by her mother of Garland; three daughters, Bernadette Parsons of Missouri, Antoinette and husband, Glen Armstrong, and Rebecca Dancer; adopted daughter, Angie Gendron, all of Garland; sister, Corinne Fish of Ashland; four grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Joshua and Chelsea; two great-grandchildren, Parker and Hailee; son-in-law, Eugene Parsons; and many loving friends who cared for her. She was predeceased by her father; sister, Kathleen Smith; and granddaughter, Veronica Parsons.

Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at Dexter Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Lyman Curtis officiating. Spring burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Garland. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Dexter. Those who wish may leave written condolences at
