HAMMOND – Elizabeth “Betty” McLean, 81, died Nov. 21, 2011, at a local health care facility. She was born Sept. 4, 1930, in Hammond, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Carpenter) McIver.
Betty was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Fitzpatrick and her husband, Henry, of Hammond and Jane Fitzpatrick and her husband, Eddie, of Littleton; six grandchildren, Willie, Robin, Tammy, Fred, Kenirae and Eddie Jr.; eight great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Sara, Jenna, Jacob, Kaelyn, Cooper, Chloe and Wyatt; one great-great-grandchild, Canden; one sister, Lois Botting of Houlton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; and three brothers, Clarence, Gene and Joe.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church with the Rev. David Raymond, celebrant.
