HERMON – Ivanette “Ivy” Michaud, 73, passed away Nov. 23, 2011, at her residence from cancer. She was born Sept. 22, 1938, in Waterville, daughter of late Donald and Alida Jolicoeur.

Ivy graduated from Mount Merici Academy in 1956. She loved to entertain her family during the holidays, to play the piano, boating and spending time at camp. For 39 years she was a receptionist for Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker in Bangor, and was assistant treasurer of the Bangor Noon Kiwanis Club.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard of Hermon; daughters, Michelle Labbe and husband, Mark, of Waterville and Paula Walker and husband, Freeman, of Timberville, Va.; sons, Jesse Michaud and wife, Michele, of Standish and Kirk Michaud of Hermon; stepdaughter, Peggy Nichols and husband, Tracy, of Caribou; stepson, Jeff Michaud and wife, Debbie, of Caribou; sisters, Janice Grant of Portland and Denise Jolicoeur of Venice, Fla.; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, two brothers, Wayne and Larry Jolicoeur, predeceased her.

Services for Ivy will be private. Condolences may be sent to the family at 2868 Route 2, Hermon, ME 04401. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
