WEST ENFIELD – Michael Wayne Stanley, 59, died Nov. 26, 2011, at his home. He was born April 12, 1952, in Lincoln, the son of Avon and Clarice (Giles) Stanley.

Michael loved spending time in Burlington, cutting wood and playing cribbage with his friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Avon and Clarice Stanley of Howland, he is survived by a son, Brian Stanley and Melanie; two grandsons, Patrick and Aidan Stanley, all of Scarborough; two special nephews, Matthew and Michael Bruce of Kenduskeag; eight siblings, Greg Stanley and Suzanne of Kennebunk, Keith Stanley and Donna of Enfield, Barbara Stanley of Augusta, Brenda Hansen and Rodney of West Enfield, Blandine Devilinsky and Bobby of Westbrook, Avon Stanley Jr. and Melanie of Lagrange, Karen Paul and Donald of Indian Island and Jessica Dugans and Chip of Ellsworth; special companion, Lois Thurlow; brothers and sisters-in-law, Debbie Neal, Patty Bruce and Cliff Tash; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie (Tash) Stanley.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at West Enfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Community Health and Counseling Hospice, P.O.
