HOULTON – Annabelle M. Lynds, 97, went to be with the Lord Nov. 29, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 17, 1914, daughter of Percy and Alma (Tilley) York.
Annabelle had a great love for crocheting, knitting and all kinds of crafts. She also loved to play her organ. Another love was to play card games with “the girls” in her apartment building or with family.
Annabelle is survived by one beloved son, Gary Lynds and her dearest daughter-in-law, Doreen Lynds; four grandchildren, Daniel Lynds and his wife, Marla, Timothy Lynds and his wife, Cathy, Andy Lynds and his wife, Alyson, and Trisha Harvey and her husband, P.J.; 10 great-grandchildren, Basil, Sasha, Brittany, Ericka, Cassandra, Jenna, Jake, Ben, Wyatt and Garett; and five great-great-grandchildren, Paige, Jack, Olivia, Charlie and Colin. She was predeceased by three brothers, Ralph, Charlie and Claude; and two sisters, Neta and Gladys.
Friends may call 11 a.m. until the time of service noon Thursday at Dunn Funeral Home with Pastor Paula Lilley officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
