ORONO – Fred A. Munson Sr., 90, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011. He was born Jan. 29, 1921, in Carroll, the son of Raymond and Helen (Cole) Munson.
Fred was a former resident of Tall Pines, Belfast. He loved being a woodsman all his life. Fred enjoyed joking, teasing, and flirting with women.
In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his wife, Lillian. He leaves behind two brothers, two sisters; a former daughter-in-law, Karen and her husband, John; grandchildren, Kim and her husband, Shawn, Paul, Barbie, Danny and Nikki; great-grandchildren, Alicia, Robert and Jake; and two very special great-great-grandsons, Devin and Robbie.
A private burial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. A service of Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
