LINCOLN – Evelyn E. Chubbuck, 78, passed away Dec. 17, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 23, 1933, in Molunkus, the daughter of Lawrence and Grace (Severance) Osnoe.
Evelyn was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid outdoorsperson and loved to garden.
She is survived by her companion of nearly 11 years, Joseph Pelkey; six children, Erwin Chubbuck Jr. and Roberta of Argyle, Debra Twitchell and Billy of Greenbush, Sandra and Arnie Whittaker of Newburgh, Richard Chubbuck and Nancy Peasley of Otis, Cheryl White and Matt of Alton, and Dennis Chubbuck and Laurie of Greenbush; 14 grandchildren, Mary, Amanda, Kevin, Heather, Greg, William, Rebecca, Alexia, Melonie, Lynelle, Jonathan, Jacob, Blaine and Susan; 15 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Madeline Dumont, Kenneth Osnoe, Clayton Osnoe and Thursa Millington; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. She also leaves special cousins, Roger and Monica Severance. She was predeceased by her husband, Erwin B. Chubbuck Sr.; a son, Blaine Robert Chubbuck; and a grandson, Joseph Chubbuck.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, with the Rev. Bruce Michaud officiating. Interment will be at Kingman Cemetery.
