OLD TOWN – Ernest Leon Garceau, 83, died Dec. 20, 2011. He was born Aug. 14, 1928, the son of Ernest and Marion (Pinkham) Garceau.
Ernest attended Old Town schools. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cribbage and was a handyman who could fix anything.
He is survived by loving wife of 55 years; two sons, William “Bill” Garceau and wife, Martha, and Myron Garceau; a sister, Beverly; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ernest was predeceased by his brother, Rayme.
