BANGOR – Lillian C. Mooney, 81, passed peacefully Dec. 24, 2011, at a Corinth health care facility. She was born April 26, 1930, in New Haven, Conn., daughter of Edward A. and Catherine E. (Piekarski) Tessmer.
Lillian worked as a nurse’s aide at a nursing home in her early years. She later worked as a housekeeper at Husson College. More than anything, raising and taking care of her children and family was her life. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth A. Hueffman and wife, Carol, of Bangor, Kathy A. Hueffman and wife, Lynn Wilson, of Nashua, N.H., and Allan J. Hueffman of Bangor; a sister, Gail Fee and husband, Bill, of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; and by a grandson, Joshua.
Service will be private for the family. Gifts in her memory may be made to a local animal shelter of choice. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, Bangor.
