PRINCETON – Priscilla Cushing Andrews, 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011. Priscilla was born Feb. 2, 1917, in Crawford, daughter of the late George and Nolia (Fenlason) Cushing.
After attending school in Crawford, she married Brewer Andrews. They owned and operated Early Morning Farm for many years. Priscilla was a member of Woodland Baptist Church, where she cleaned and taught Sunday school, as well as Gideon’s International Auxiliary. She enjoyed scrapbooking, quilting and flowers.
In addition to her parents, Priscilla was predeceased by her husband, Brewer; sister, Florence Libby; and her brother, Bill Cushing. Surviving are her two children, Beverly Andrews of Calais and Larry Andrews and his wife, Jane, of Princeton; five grandchildren, Kevin McPhee and his wife, Kathy, of Stillwater, Devon Andrews and his wife, Kelly, of Redmond, Ore., Duane Andrews and his wife, Jody, of Baileyville, Wayne Potter and his wife, Katy, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Adam Potter and his wife, Lisa, of Windham; 13 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and a niece, Kay Church of Calais.
Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. A celebration of Priscilla’s life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Baptist Church, Baileyville. Burial will be after at South Princeton Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at
