FRENCHVILLE – Blanche Guerrette, 81, died unexpectedly at her residence Jan. 2, 2012. She was born July 16, 1930, in St. David, the Daughter of Ernest and Aline (Gendreau) Dufour.
She was a member of Ladies of St. Anne and Tops weight loss group. She loved to knit in her spare time.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Valere Guerrette of Frenchville; two sons, James and his wife, Diane, of Frenchville, Gary and his wife, Nicki, of Bristol, Conn.; one daughter, Louise Brown of Madawaska; five grandchildren, Troy, Alicia, Stacey, Scott and Ryan; and one great-grandchild, Alli; one brother, Lloyd Dufour of Madawaska; six sisters and their husbands, Alice and Patrick Chasse of Frenchville, Mrs. Yvette Ayotte and Mrs. Florence Ralph, both of New Britain, Conn., Mrs. Norma and Don Lachance of Manchester, N.H., Mrs. Leonette and Walter Miller of Long Island, N.Y., and Mrs. Omerine and George Kingsbury of Derry, N.H.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Theresa Beaulieu; and one brother, Albenie Dufour.
Friends and relatives may call at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville, from 8:30 till time of services Friday, Jan. 6, 2012. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Valley Church, Frenchville, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating.
