WINDHAM – Kimberly “Kim” Blythe Weeks, 38, unexpectedly went to her Lord Dec. 29, 2011, at the home of her mother, Carole Lovely, in Windham. She was born April 24, 1973, a birth date she shared with her father, Lowell D. Weeks of Standish.

Kim graduated from Windham High School, class of 1993. In school she was a member of the band and participated in sports programs. Her employment history included part time at her father’s law firm, greeter at Lakes Region Information booth and clerk at Marden’s. Also for the past 10 years she enthusiastically served customers at Windham Hannaford Supermarket. She faithfully attended First Evangelical Free Church, Westbrook. At Bible studies, she drove to the heart of the lesson bringing clarity to discussions. Further, Kim faithfully served God through her extraordinary loving acts of kindness to all. Izzy and Miss Molly, her rescued dogs, brought her much joy, so much so, she was studying to become a veterinarian assistant and looking forward to expanding her care of animals. Kim’s birth was premature as was her death, in her short life, she overcame many obstacles, lived 13 years in her own apartment and eventually made her home with her best friend and buddy, Mom.
