DOVER-FOXCROFT – William Kenneth Burtchell, 51, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 2, 2012, in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born Oct. 4, 1960, the youngest son of Elwin P. “Tinker” and Phyllis (Libby) Burtchell.
He was a lifelong resident of Dover-Foxcroft and a graduate of Foxcroft Academy, class of 1980.
William was predeceased by his father, Tinker; and his sister, Vickie. He leaves behind his mother, Phyllis of Dover-Foxcroft; his brother, Ken of Ellsworth; a sister, Roxanne of Woolwich; nieces, Amanda Cuss and Haley Burtchell-Carmichael; nephews, Jake Burtchell and David Burtchell; great-nieces, Eva, Penelope and Anna Cuss, Lauren Burtchell and Malia Carmichael; and a great-nephew, Liam Burtchell.
A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Dodie Sheffield officiating.
