BANGOR – Deborah M. (Thurston) Hall, 49, courageously passed from the arms of her family into the arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ, Jan. 4, 2012, at her home. Debbie only recently found out that she had an incurable cancer, Dec. 9, 2011. She was born July 2, 1962, in Bangor, daughter of the late Ralph and Christine Thurston.
She had personally met the Lord during an open-heart surgery and often shared the beauty of the kingdom with others. Debbie enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her beloved daughter, Brandy and her four grandchildren. She enjoyed the beach, the ocean, fishing and boating, and was most proud of her life and accomplishments with her former husband, Robert Hall of Hudson.
In addition to both parents, she was predeceased by her father’s longtime, companion Anita Ewer; Anita’s son, Chris Ewer; her grandmother, Beatrice Pierce; her uncle, Donnie; and an infant niece, Naomi, with whom she shared a spiritual bond. Debbie is survived by her daughter, Brandy and husband, David Webb, of Hampden; four grandchildren, Matthew, Myra, Adrian and Aubrey; a very close brother, Ron and his wife, Deanna, of Hudson; brothers, Wayne Wilcox of Greenfield, Ind., Joel Thurston of Connecticut and Joel Ewer of Sanford; sisters, Charissa Pattershall of Old Town and Lynn; a close niece, Kayla; a stepfather, Merl Knowlton of Hudson; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be deeply missed by all, including four very close friends, Rick Buck, Mike Quinn, Care Pearson and Annette Grant.
A memorial service and reception to honor Debbie’s life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at Hudson Baptist Church with Pastor Garnett Chute officiating.
