MILLINOCKET – Pauline A. Valade, 69, died Jan. 5, 2012, at her home. She was born Nov. 7, 1942, in Providence, R.I., the daughter of James and Staphanie (Vadas) Lockhart.
She was a licensed practical nurse for many years. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Sargent of Millinocket; a grandson, Robert Riendeau Jr. of Bangor; a great-granddaughter, Alexia Riendeau; a stepgrandson, Peter Jamieson; a sister, Andrea Sherman of Connecticut; close friends, Clara Albert, Natale Brown, Mavis, Tracy, and Scott and Marsha Gagnon. She also leaves behind her beloved Dutchess.
A memorial word and communion service will held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the Divine Mercy, 19 Colby St., Millinocket, with Deacon Danny Dawson presiding. Donations may be made to Katahdin Area Support Group, 10 Field St., Millinocket, ME 04462. Message of condolences may be expressed at
