WESTFIELD and ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Keith D. Allen Sr., 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep Nov. 9, 2011. Keith was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Presque Isle.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Geneva; one son, Clair Allen of Westfield; a daughter, Mary Allen of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Keith was predeceased by three sons, Larry, Keith Jr. and Michael; and two brothers, Vaughn of Presque Isle and Maurice of Deland, Fla.
Keith retired from Casco Northern Bank, Presque Isle, after 30 years of service. He was a past president of Future Farmers and Mars Hill Rotary Club. He was also a member of Mason Club, Mars Hill, and Shrine Club, Bangor. Keith will be remembered by family and friends as a hard working and loving husband, father and grandfather.
A memorial service was held at Rainbow Village Resort, Zephyrhills, Fla., where Keith and Geneva resided for the past 10 years.
