HOULTON – Leonie Spaulding, 90, died Dec. 29, 2011, at a local health care facility. She was born Nov. 19, 1921, in Camden, daughter of Alfred and Phyllis (Thompson) Clarence.
Leonie proudly served elderly clients on behalf of the Aroostook Area Agency on Aging for more than 12 years, retiring at the young age of 82. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by them.
Leonie is survived by two sons, Gary Spaulding of Texas and Randall Spaulding Sr. of Bangor; two grandsons, Randall Spaulding Jr. and his wife, Gina, of Nevada and Matthew Benn of Bridgewater; and a great-granddaughter, Jessica Spaulding. She was predeceased by her husband, John Spaulding.
