LOVELAND, Colo. – Dale Roland Rideout, 62, died Jan. 13, 2012, at his home. He was born April 6, 1949, in West Bangor, to Chapin and Phylis (Bede) Rideout.

Dale grew up in Maine. He graduated high school in 1968 from Lee Academy, Lee. After high school he attended Portland School of Fine & Applied Arts, Portland, for a year. On Oct. 16, 1971, he married Laureen Crocker in Lee. They later moved to Loveland, Colo., where they have resided for the past 13 years. After moving to Loveland, Colo., Dale worked as a meat cutter at Sam’s Club. He was an accomplished and gifted artist/painter who loved nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking in national parks and his dog, Chloe. Dale especially loved being with his family.

Dale is survived by his wife, Laureen Rideout of Loveland, Colo.; sons, Jason Rideout of Loveland, Colo., and Trevor Rideout and Paula of Greeley, Colo.; daughter, Jessica Rideout and Chris Doiron of Loveland, Colo.; brothers, Jan Rideout and Wade Rideout, both of East Winn; and four grandchildren Rayce Rideout, Hailee Rideout, Michael Mongillo and Cody Guthrie. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Ronald.
