DAMARISCOTTA – Susie Gwendolyn Dearborn Cook, 79, went to be with the Lord Jan. 13, 2012. She was born March 30, 1932, in Garland.
Susie enjoyed gardening, pickling and her dog, Maggie. Susie had lived the past three years at Riverside at Chase Point Assisted Living, where she enjoyed visits from family and many activities with the staff and residents there.
Susie was predeceased by her husband, Everett Cook, June 12, 2008; her parents, Lewis and Gladys Dearborn; and a brother, Lyle and his wife, Mary. She is survived by one sister, Betty Robbins of Hartland; two brothers, Jack Dearborn and Wayne Dearborn and his wife, Donna, all of Garland; a stepdaughter, Sheila Hill and her husband, John, of Wiscasset; three granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A spring burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Garland.
