STAFFORD SPRINGS, Conn. – Howard P. Bennett Jr., 69, husband of the late Carlene (Braley) Bennett, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Plymouth, son of the late Howard P. Sr. and Catherine Bennett.
Howard was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his companion and special friend, Charlotte Kulas; three children, Pamela Shepard and her husband, Gary, Scott Bennett and his wife, Penny, and Rebecca Klements and her husband, David; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; four siblings, Herb Bennett Sr. and his wife, Dorothy, Gloria Long and her husband, Elmer, Freda Long, and Ronald Bennett and his wife, Cheryl; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford, 199 West Stafford Road, Stafford Springs, Conn.
