PERU, N.Y. – Dora D. Danforth, 85, of Military Turnpike, Peru, N.Y., passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, with family by her side at the home of her daughter, Lana Sokoloski, under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born March 4, 1926, in Skowhegan, daughter of Willie J. and Delvina E. (Laney) Cyr.
