GUILFORD – Russell H. Carver, 62, died Jan. 28, 2012, at Mayo Regional Hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1949, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of William and Alice (Clark) Carver.

A graduate of Foxcroft Academy, class of 1967, Russell was a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Russell had worked at Pride Manufacturing, Guilford, for many years, and then at Hardwood Products, Guilford. He especially enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by a brother, Keith Carver of Anville, Pa.; three nephews, Anthony, Andrew and Justin Carver; several aunts and uncles, including a special aunt and uncle, Frank and Charlene Clark of Dover-Foxcroft; and several cousins, including Quentin Clark, Jim Clark and Cindy Badershall.

Friends are invited to call 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service noon, Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Tom Bruce officiating.
