BANGOR and MILO – James A. Pickard III, 58, died Feb. 1, 2012, in Bangor. He was born April 2, 1952, in Milo, son of the late James A. Pickard and Agnes (Stone) Pickard.
A member of the National Honor Society, James was a graduate of Penquis Valley High School, class of 1971. James was a life member of Piscataquis Mosaic Masonic Lodge No. 44 AF & AM. He worked with his family at Milo Sport Shop and Pickard’s Sport Shop, Brewer.
James is survived by his mother, Agnes Pickard of Bowerbank; his brother, Asa and his wife, Ramona Pickard, of Sanford; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a dear sister, Jamie; and his son, James A. Pickard IV.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with Pastor Donald Booker officiating. Spring burial will be in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at
