BREWER – Mary A. Bishop, 80, died Jan. 31, 2012, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born March 13, 1931, in Georgetown, Mass., daughter of William and Carolyn (Glover) Townsend.
Mary enjoyed reading, singing and writing poetry, but most of all spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Bishop of Brewer; three daughters, Donna Bishop of Brewer, Kathie Potter of Eddington, and Linda Bishop and her husband, Lucas Mcelmurry, of Brewer; one grandson, James T. Potter; and loved by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by three sisters, Ruth, Helen and Dorothy.
