BREWER – Carl Winslow Sr., 93, son of Blanche and Harry Winslow, passed peacefully Jan. 31, 2012.
He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Erdine; and six brothers, Frederick, Clarence, Kenneth, Arthur, Ernie and John. He is survived by his beloved sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Sidney Winchester; his son and daughter-in-law, Carl Jr. and Candice Winslow; one grandson, Brand Winslow; his great-granddaughter, Lily Grace Pye; several nieces and nephews. The Maine Veterans Home, Bangor, had been his residence for the last 3 1/2 years, where he was lovingly cared for with the greatest of respect and dignity. He was so happy and content there and considered the staff family and they him.
He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Patten Cemetery.
