BANGOR – Beverly Elaine (Davis) White, “Bubby,” passed away peacefully Feb. 2, 2012, near Mission Viejo, Calif., where she resided for the past 14 years. Beverly was born Dec. 4, 1938, in Bangor, to William Lincoln and Bessie May (Baker) Davis.
She was the youngest of four children and graduated in 1956 from Hampden Academy. She was a very loving mother to her four children and all of her grandchildren.
Beverly was predeceased by her parents; her oldest daughter, Rhonda Lynn (White) Gortney; and her first grandchild, Jennifer Rae White. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her three surviving children and their families: daughter, Deborah White-Lawler and husband, Robert Lawler, of Mission Viejo, Calif., her son, Robert White Jr. and his wife, Jennifer (Kidd) White, of Greer, S.C., and her daughter, Elaine Carol White of Bangor; her nine grandchildren, Nathan Ricker, Alyssa and Lindsey Lawler, Ethan, Owen, Davis and Raychel White, and Rhandee and Rylee Gortney; her three siblings, William Lincoln Davis Jr., Ramona Pelletier and Joan Brooks; and several very special nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no funeral services; however, since she was loved by so many from Maine to California, her family will plan two separate memorial services – a celebration of her life – at later dates.
