ROCKLAND – Frederick D. Merritt, 60, passed away peacefully Feb. 7, 2012, surrounded by his loved ones at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston. He died of complications following an automobile accident that occurred Dec. 9, 2011.
Family and friends are invited to visit 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland, where a celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, with the Rev. Wayne Sawyer officiating. A reception will be after at Winslow-Holbrook-Merritt American Legion Post No. 1, 335 Limerock St., Rockland.
