MAPLETON – Emelia “Toni” Marie Flannigan, 91, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at her residence. She was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Louisson and Alice (Daigle) Chasse.

She had lived in Mapleton since 1940. She owned and operated Toni’s Beauty Shop for 37 years. “Toni” was a member of Mapleton United Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Anita Currier and her husband, Charles, of Mapleton, and Paula Flannigan of Batavia, Ohio; son, Keith Flannigan of Mapleton; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and 15 siblings.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Kenneth Phelps officiating. Friends may call noon until time of the service at the funeral home. Spring interment will be at Southside Cemetery, Mapleton.
