MILLINOCKET – Gaylon D. Dearborn, 83, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at a Millinocket hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1928, in Sherman Mills, son of Elmer and Azuba (Stubbs) Dearborn.
Gaylon served in the U.S. Army during World War II, after which time he began working for Great Northern Paper Co., Millinocket, as an electrician.
He is survived by a daughter, Heather Kennedy, fka Brenda, of Millinocket; and several cousins. In addition to his parents, Gaylon was predeceased by his wife, Arleen (Levasseur) Dearborn.
At Gaylon’s request, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at the Millinocket cemetery in the springtime. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home.
