INDIAN PURCHASE 3, Maine — No injuries occurred when a pickup truck collided with a full school bus on its way to a snowshoeing expedition on Wednesday, police said.
An RSU 67 bus was on its way to New England Outdoors Center when a pickup truck passed it legally on Millinocket Lake Road about 9:23 a.m. The collision occurred when the pickup truck failed to clear the front end of the bus and the truck’s back bumper hit the bus’s front end, said Deputy Patricia McLaughin of the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department.
No charges are expected, McLaughlin said.
RSU 67 serves Chester, Lincoln and Mattawamkeag.

Um… the truck legally passed, but didn’t clear the bus before he went in front of it… so are we going with bumper car rules on the highways now? Rubbin is racin? Oh wait, I know, it was a bump draft, yea that’s it.
The bus driver should get extra credit for a perfectly excecuted PIT maneuver.
Maybe you should think before you type! The bus driver is still not back to work yet and probably won’t be for some time because of what happened, have a little sympathy!
