WINTERPORT – Lucile Alice Lipsohn, 81, passed away peacefully Feb. 12, 2012, at her home. She was born Nov. 13, 1930, in New Haven, Vt., the daughter of Irvine and Estella (Stilson) Shedrick.
Lucile was a military wife and homemaker, moving around the country for her late husband, Karl’s career, until settling in Winterport in 1969.
She is survived by two sons, Eric Lipsohn of Texas and Kurt Lipsohn of New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Allison N. Lipsohn and Tristan R. Lipsohn; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Robert and Shirley Shappy.
At Lucile’s request, private interment will be in the springtime at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport. Arrangements entrusted to Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
