BAR HARBOR – Annie L. Wheaton, 77, died Feb. 15, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 24, 1934, on Swans Island, daughter of Edward B. and Georgia A. (White) Wheaton.
Annie enjoyed cooking and crocheting. She was a former member of Mount View Grange, Town Hill.
She is survived by brothers, John Wheaton and wife, Leona, of Swans Island, and Robert Wheaton and wife, Barbara, of Florida; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her special companion of 53 years, Harry Parsons, in 2007; a sister, Ethel Staples; and two brothers, Nelson and Burton Wheaton.
