WAITE – Avis A. (MacArthur) Lyko, 79, passed away Feb. 20, 2012, after a short battle with cancer.
Avis was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Quilt Guild of Calais.
She leaves her son, Raymond Lyko Jr. of Sutton, Mass.; daughter, Joan Marie Gasparoni of Sarasota, Fla.; a very close friend, Willis L. Butler of Waite; a brother, Richard MacArthur of Jacksonville, Ark.; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Princeton Congregational Church.
