The body found in Grand Lake Stream this week may have been there for weeks.
A vehicle was found on a logging road off Amazon Road late Tuesday morning, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Inside was a body, which police believe had been there for several weeks.
The vehicle was from out of state, the sheriff’s office said Thursday.
The medical examiner’s office in Augusta is working to identify the body and determine the cause of death.
The death isn’t currently considered suspicious.
