WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – Louise Myers Phillips, 78, entered into rest Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. Ms. Phillips was born Sept. 11, 1933, in Old Town.
A devoted homemaker, she was a loving and selfless foster mother to more than 70 children. Her heart and her passion were taking care of her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Henry Phillips; son, Robert Phillips; and parents, Carl Raymond Myers and Rebecca Harding Myers. Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved children, Ralph Phillips of Colorado Springs, Colo., David Phillips and wife, Brenda, of Warner Robins, Ga., and Cynthia Lane of Pueblo, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Phillips of Leavenworth, Kan.; brother, David Myers and wife, Deb, of Chevy Chase, Md.; sister, Caroline Parkerson of Granger, Ind.; grandchildren, Christopher Lane, Bethanie Lane, Juliana Phillips, Shane Phillips, Laura Phillips, Natalia Oldson and husband, Mike, Megan Phillips, Joshua Phillips, Nathan Phillips, Carl Phillips, Michelle McEwen, Anna McEwen and Daniel McEwen; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Oldson and Anthony Oldson.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
