SARASOTA, Fla., and BANGOR – Tarsha Marie (Rideout) Hall, 33, passed away peacefully Feb. 11, 2012, in Sarasota, Fla., with her grandparents, Wil and Evelyn Baird of Belfast, at her side. Tarsha was born April 8, 1978, in Dover-Foxcroft, daughter of Sandra Rideout and Ray Phelps.

She leaves behind her husband, Scott Hall of Sarasota, Fla., previously of Belfast, and made the last six years of her life so happy. In addition, she leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Sandi and Dwayne Rideout of Bangor; brothers, Travis Rideout and Joshua Rideout; grandparents, Wil and Evelyn Baird; multiple aunts and uncles, including Christine Baird, Will Baird Jr., Deb Baird, Wayne Baird, Val Somma and Belicia Johnson; and cousins, including Will Baird III, Brandon Elwell, Kasey Baird Schmersal, Krystal Baird and Destiny Baird. Many people called Tarsha a friend and supported her throughout her battle with cancer, including school friends from Bangor High; University of Maine, Orono; and her new friends from Sarasota, Fla.

Tarsha enjoyed hiking and trips with her family and grandparents. She also enjoyed time spent in Deer Isle and Camden with her cousins, whom she taught so much. She had a special knack with training her pets and an artistic eye for detail that showed in her intricate sculptures of mythical animals. Her memory will live on in our hearts.
