AUGUSTA, Maine — Gov. Paul LePage has signed into law a bill that will make it easier for Maine municipalities to get information for their veterans honor rolls.
Rep. Pete Johnson’s bill allows the Bureau of Maine Veterans’ Services to release information about veterans to municipalities that are establishing or updating a veterans’ honor roll. The Greenville Republican’s bill was developed in conjunction with the bureau.
Johnson says it’ll ensure that town officials have the accurate information they need to honor their veterans.
Lepage thinks putting our names on a list will make up for his disgusting treatment of those Maine veterans who are homeless or depending on some form of welfare
It’s not Lepages fault vets are homeless or on welfare. How can we come out of the military with no marketable skills? If that had happened to me when I got out, I’d look in a mirror. If you are griping about VA treatment, btw, address your concerns to the Feds.
Been getting fine treatment from the Veterans as of Mar 2002, no complaints at all, and also very happy there is a place in Bangor instead of driving to Augusta.

This seems like a reasonable thing to do. Every body wants to “Thank a veteran” (as they should). Let’s not turn this into LePage bashing or anybody-bashing.
Making it easier to get the appropriate veteran information will help many towns and organizations projects to Honor Veterans. LePage has not treated ANY veteran with disgust.
, There will be never enugh for the Veterans, they are a crutch for all politicians or better yet the crying people who believe they are superior to normal people who bought and paid for all there stuff to serve. Its just a shame the no one ever honors normal people (citizen’s) that actual are the motor for this country. With out us there would be no USA society!
