THURMONT, Md. – Leonard F. Clukey, 75, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, in Emmitsburg, Md. He was born July 14, 1936, in Dexter.
Len taught school until he came to Maryland in the early ’60s. Later he worked for Job Corps at Husson College, Bangor.
Surviving are sister, Betty Baker and husband, Bob, of Maryland; brother, Louis Clukey and wife, Nancy, of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, March 19, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Emmitsburg, Md. Interment will be afterward at New St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, Emmitsburg, Md. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 47 DePaul St., P.O.
