OLD TOWN – Damon “Todd” Ogden, 43, died unexpectedly March 14, 2012, in Old Town. He was born July 5, 1968, in Portland, a son of Keith E. and Rose M. (Meserve) Ogden.
Todd was a two-time state champion wrestler for Bucksport High School and enjoyed basketball, softball and golf. He gave back to the community through refereeing basketball and softball, as well as through deejaying charity events for United Cerebral Palsy and the YMCA. Todd owned and operated TLO DJ Service for many years and was a talented, hardworking employee of Ogden Construction. He was a family man, very proud of his daughters Taylor and Erica, and was active in stock car racing with the family. Todd wrote many beautiful poems for his children.
Todd is survived by two daughters, Taylor Lynn Ogden of Milford and Erica Marie Ogden of Old Town; the mother of his children, Julie Ogden of Old Town; six brothers, Keith Ogden of Dedham, Gilbert Ogden and his wife, Kim, of Ellsworth, Kenneth Ogden of Seals Cove, Shawn Ogden of Bangor, David Ogden of Bangor and Darryl Ogden and his wife, Lynette, of Bangor; special nephews, Mike Ogden and Gilbert Ogden Jr.; many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Contributions in Todd’s memory may be made to Old Town High School Music Program, care of Old Town High School, 203 Stillwater Ave., Old Town, ME 04468, in honor of his children.
