LINCOLNVILLE – Pauline A. (Robbins) Moody, 80, passed away March 15, 2012, at her son Phil’s home in Lincolnville. She was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Northport, the daughter of Roland and Margaret (Lermand) Robbins.

Polly and her husband, Waldo Moody, worked as chicken and dairy farmers for many years until her husband passed away. She completed certified nurse’s aide training and worked at Quarry Hill, retiring at the age of 79. Polly had a passion for what she did and was known as a hard worker. She also enjoyed flowers, vegetable gardening, working with her raspberries and looked forward to her camping trips in August with her friend, Janet. Polly was very pleased when her two granddaughters were born into their family of boys.

She was predeceased by her husband; her father; and her companion, Thomas Hickey.

Polly is survived by her beloved mother, Margaret (Lermond) Robbins of Lincolnville; her loving children, Fred Moody and wife, Margo, Phillip Moody and wife, Karen, all of Lincolnville, Dana Moody and wife, Victoria, of Corinth; stepson, Thomas Moody and wife, Mary, of Christmas Cove; her siblings, Joyce Collemer and husband, Robert, of Franklin, Mass., and Carol Fizer and husband, Everett, of Lincolnville; her dear grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Jamie, Ryan, Mathew and Jessica; stepgrandchildren, Lisa, Thomas Jr. and Rick; nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family thanks Jen Denkin for her wonderful care.
