SOUTH PORTLAND – Margaret Pauline Michaud Lowe, 93, died March 20, 2012, at Southern Maine Medical Center, Biddeford. She was born Feb. 21, 1919, in Millinocket, a daughter of George and Margaret DeVoe Michaud.
She attended Bangor schools. Margaret was a lifelong homemaker and a caretaker for her husband for many years, who had multiple sclerosis. She loved the Lord and attended church most of her life; the last few years at Grace Bible Church, Gorham. Margaret lived most of her life in Winterport and moved to southern Maine in the late 1990s.
She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Oscar Lowe, in 1984. Surviving are one daughter, Connie Morehead and husband, Frank, of Buxton; two sons, Russell Lowe and wife, Connie, of Norridgewock, and Richard Lowe and wife, Kathy, of South Portland; one sister, Louise Dolan of Walnut Creek, Calif.; eight grandchildren seven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visiting hours will be held 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Bible Church, 74 Deering Road, Gorham. Interment will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport.
