MADAWASKA and FORT KENT – Cheryl Michaud, 43, died peacefully March 21, 2012, at her residence. She was born Jan. 18, 1969, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Monique Charette.
She was a past member of Fort Kent Columbiettes.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Samantha Morneault; her son, Paige Morneault; granddaughter, Chloe Isabelle Willard, all of Madawaska; one brother, Frank Charette of Fort Kent; and three sisters, her godmother, Pat Caron of Madawaska, Joella Raymond and Carol Levesque, both of Fort Kent. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her mother in 2002, she was predeceased by one sister, Florence Hebert, in 2011.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 23, and 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at St. Luce Catholic Church, Frenchville. Spring burial will be held May 15 at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Kent.
