GUILFORD – Thomas G. Blake died April 2, 2012, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born July 15, 1925, in Sangerville, a son of Walter and Frances (Whiteside) Blake.
He was educated in Guilford schools, attended Colby College and Boston University School of Law. In 1951, he associated with W.G. Blake’s Insurance Agency, Guilford, until his retirement.
He leaves his wife, Barbara (Moulton) Blake of Guilford; and their three daughters, Pamela and her husband, Thomas P. Goulette, of Guilford, Lindy and her husband, Charles Gokas, of Dexter, and Nancy Ellis of Guilford; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frederick O. Blake and his wife, Marion, of Temagami, Ontario, Canada.
A graveside service will take place 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Lawn Cemetery, Guilford, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating.
