CARIBOU – Louis Beaulieu, 92, died April 7, 2012, in Van Buren. He was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Fort Fairfield, son of Fred and Eva (Caron) Beaulieu.
He was employed at Cyr’s Construction, Caribou, for many years as a carpenter. He was a member of Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He married Elsie (St. Peter) Beaulieu, April 6, 1942.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of Caribou are a daughter, Janice Beaulieu of Caribou; three grandchildren, Gary Beaulieu and his wife, Nicole, of St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Dr. John Beaulieu and his wife, Sarah, of Presque Isle, and Tammy Michaud and her husband, Kevin, of Van Buren; four great-grandchildren, Kris and Chad Beaulieu, both of St. Leonard, New Brunswick, and Joshua and Kassandra Michaud, both of Van Buren; and daughter-in-law, Joan Beaulieu of Van Buren. He was predeceased by a son, Louis Beaulieu Jr.; and three brothers, Lawrence, Paul and Richard Beaulieu.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Spring interment will take place at New Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
